I don't know anyone that runs more than a single pair of sdi cables to a suite. Embedded audio isn't a new thing!
Analogue converters and break out boxes in the suite fed by sdi.
As for symphony it failed a long long time ago stop hoping for a fix. Davinci won the grading wars, and not just on price - it's the ease of use that Pete grant and the guys have pushed since Bmd bought it. Davinci 8 was a nightmare to confirm in, 11 practically does it for you.
Davinci updates are the second biggest thing I'm looking at yo come out of nab.
The first is the 2016 version of the gaff gun.
Also mac version of fusion and flame updates. But that's about it there's few surprises to come.
Id like to see a better link between systems in terms of a subscribe to changes model. Edit in avid conform in resolve it flame then subscribe to the timeline. Subsequent editorial changes get mirrored in the online systems whilst dragging their timeline grades or effects along with the changes.
Just a background export/import XML I don't want to know about much less have to think about.

Hi,
We did use the ACA Products and Solutions Council for feedback for this product (and many other items).

"You would think they would have used their ACA Products and Solutions Council"
That speaks volumes about the ACA and how Avid views it.
