Re: [Avid-L2] Cine Deck does insert Edits? Somebody Pinch me

Inserting into any file that is interframe compressed to begin with has been around for a long time.   J2K, DPX,  that's all no biggie,  you just scoop out and replace.    The issue has been with quicktimes-   And while AS02-11 has been around for a long long time,  I've never had a single network receive one as a deliverable-  and I do a lot of deliverables.

And good to finally meet ya at the big show!

sorry if it was a bit confusing. The We is root6. We are both the UK reseller for R&S (so I am biased in favour of Venice and suggested you check it out in the same space as Cinedeck) and we are also the manufacturers of ContentAgent (www.root6technology.com) which is the thing that can do insert edits on an AS11 DPP compliant file (that was created on the ContentAgent).

So, to be clear; we *sell* R&S Venice and we *make* ContentAgent.
