Thanks for the terminology clarification. I was likening it to right clicking and showing package content. So when I've been double clicking on zip files and the expand that's really extracting and I've been doing it all along. What's that Paul Simon song? Still Extracting after all these years? or was it something else? Hmmmm ;-)

Wouldn't just unzipping it give access to the MN Client software? In the past I feel like I just downloaded the client software based on version number as I was going on an older system that woudn't support the latest MN client software IIRC.

the download is a zip, hence the extract

I found a .dmg of MN 5.3.3 on my computer so I didn't have to do the extract. Has this changed? I don't remember having to show package contents, if that's what you mean by extract, to get the client software. Or is extract a tool to use? I seem to remember reading about Extracting parts of software a while back but I don't remember what it was regarding.

I guess I'm not understanding here. Are they part of the medianet server package? I would prefer to reinstall 5.3.3 which is currently installed. I'm only going to uninstall it to see if this solves our test San issues.

I can't seem to find the download for fibre manager 5.3.3 on the Avid download center the Unity Lanshare only seems to have server software. I must be looking in the wrong spot. Where should I go for this?
