I see X and Premiere getting whatever is left, with Premiere getting a larger proportion of FCP-Legacy folks and new editors going to X. Avid, in my region, is not even in the conversation. Must be an LA thing....And before I get torched, I want Avid to do well. Still own some stock....but that is what I see from where I sit.
In NYC on the advertising side, I've seen a few agency in-house setups flipping over to Premiere. A post house or two here and there. Most shops that were Avid or multi-platform are obviously sticking with Avid.
I haven't had one place ask me if I know FCPX.
