I'm pretty sure it's just the control protocol. It does control the HVR-M15AU just fine. and I can see the audio only from the AJA card.
I blew off the Miranda box, went to firewire only and still cannot get the MC to see the HD footage. I get a no input prompt when switching the format to 1080i/59.94. I can dig SD into the project with no problems. HD, not so much.
