We are currently seeking an individual to manage the Integration Work Flow and Quality Control process for all Editorial, Network Storage Systems and other Post Production Equipment .
The Integration Manager primarily supervises the integration team at Hula Post. The Integration Team builds and tests all systems and equipment going out on rent. The Integration Manger also works with Technical Support on occasion to provide client facing services and support on-site when needed. The Integration Manager must have a keen understanding of the over-all operation. This role also interfaces with other departments within the operation to ensure that all projects meet their required deadline. This role also interacts with our Inventory and Asset Management Team and System to maintain an over-all understanding of equipment availability.
This position is based out of our Main Headquarters in Burbank, CA ,USA.

Job Responsibilities:
 
  • Be the Key Contact for the all departments for equipment fulfillment and system integration (build) per specified work order request.
  • Prioritize and schedule staff to work on specific assignments as they relate to, equipment fulfillment, system integration, field work and requests, warehouse organization, and when necessary inventory projects.
  • Deal directly with conflict and issues that may arise amongst staff members in a professional and respectful manner, providing best case scenario resolutions when possible. 
  • Supervise the day to day activity of integration and computer technicians that report to this position.
  • Maintain responsibility for all administrative responsibilities for department staff including time card and time off requests, disciplinary meetings and potential staff planning.
  • Participate in management meetings when necessary and maintain strict confidence when requested on any matter. 
  • When necessary participate in Editorial System Builds either on-site or at a remote location depending on the project requirements.
  • Ensure each work order is fulfilled according to the specifications provided by client, sales and account management after being vetted by a senior level technician.
  • Follow up with Senior Technician, Integration Manager or Account Manager on needs when not specified in the work order.
  • Provide or assign a staff member to provide quality control on every build request prior to releasing it to inventory for check out.
  • Ensure each component on the order is properly packed and checked out with inventory control prior to departure.
  • Ensure that each piece of gear is checked back in through inventory control prior to storing it back in the warehouse.
  • Assist in the relay of client information to Account Managers and scheduling regarding changes to timeline or delivery as they occur.
  • Responsible for ensuring all gear is packed and shipped in a safe manner to prevent loss and damage during transit.
  • Ensure that work areas meet standards set by the Safety Manuel and the Safety Committee.
  • Maintain work areas so that they are neat and orderly at all times, this includes sweeping, picking up trash and debris and wiping down surfaces when necessary.
  • Regularly check equipment configurations to find deficiencies and schedule repair or contact purchasing agents to arrange replacement if required.
  • Organize equipment stored on the shop floor or storage warehouse on a continual basis, or as assigned.
 
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years of experience managing employees working in a similar or applicable environment.
  • Knowledge of broadcast television equipment.
  • Keen understanding of Editorial, Equipment,  and Network Storage Products for Avid and Final Cut Pro.
  • Evening and weekend work as business demands
·       Strong communication skills.
·       Valid Driver's License with no violations.  Driving record will be verified with the DMV.
·       Ability to deal with people inside and outside of the Company with the strictest confidentiality.
·       Ability to always maintain a friendly, tactful, decisive, pleasant, positive and professional attitude especially under pressure.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Have strong problem-solving skills
  • Self-starter and detail oriented.

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience writing and documenting standardized procedures and work flow diagrams.
  • Windows Excel, Word, Outlooks, Xytech and Salesforce.com
  • Avid Certification (ACSR)
  • 4-5 years as a Technician with applied experience towards integrating post production services.
  • 1-2 years trade school education specializing in mechanical and electrical engineering.
  • 2-3 years applied experience working in a mechanical or shop environment.

Salary and Benefits: This is a full time position with Benefits. Salary offers will be based on the level of experience of the candidate.

Must be able to lift 75lbs and be comfortable moving equipment utilizing rolling case, carts or dollies.
