Coincidentally, I was told about this behaviour by a customer yesterday. Are you putting the AMA material on the internal hard drive of the Mac or an external drive? If external, how is it connected?

Subject: [Avid-L2] AMA not working issue
Hit an issue on several of our newly updated Mac systems where AMA linking wouldn't work. No error messages. No console messages. It just would't work. After some fun troubleshooting I found the issue was a folder whose permissions got changed from Read / write for everyone to just read. Changing it back fixes the issue. Not sure if it happened with the update or with cloning the drive prior to updating.
