According to the Henge website:
"The company adheres to the design philosophy of "Simplicity with Potential," ensuring each product is both beautiful and effective, offering users a seamlessly enhanced experience with their Apple devices."
What kind of obstacles did you run into setting up the dock. I can't tell from the pix how the peripherals are attached. Looks slick.

Hi Dan -
I traded up to a 2014 tricked out 15" MBP and haven't looked back. I have MC 7.0.4 on it, but haven't used it for a real gig. The thing runs X, CS6 and others really really well. For editing on location, I use this computer and my iPad Air2 as a second monitor via the Duet Display App. I also have a Henge docking station (http://hengedocks.com/pages/vertical-macbook-pro) for editing in my office that makes the MBP more like a desktop computer. The Henge is not the easiest thing to setup, but once you do, you kind of forget that you are working on a laptop. I am using TB G-Raid drives for media.
All in all, I think it's a great move.
