[Avid-L2] Re: HDR at last!

 

Okay I want to now who asked Santa for HDR under the tree this year? Or was it somebody's New Years Resolution?  Is it the same person who asked for 4K a few years back?  I know technology marches on but there's a part of me that wants to put more formats on the naughty list.  ;-)

By, "more accurate colors." is there more bit depth in the format for color information or is it just handling more overall dynamic range?  The devil is in the details or in this case detail.
