Re: [Avid-L2] PAL Conversion Question

My preference is to speed up the material to 25fps using cinema tools, then media encoder or compressor to make your H.264. A lot of people prefer FFMPeg for H264, but Adobe Media Encoder is my current choice. (You can also do the 'speed up' in After Effects if you don't have Cinema Tools left over from an old Final Cut Studio 3 install.)

If you have to do linear conversion (no speed change) then you should use a teranex or similar.
