You could probably achieve it with the Boris "BCC Wild Cards" effect, in the "BCC Particles" category.

Is there an effect to put on a clip to make, 4, 8, 16 images all the same appear in the screen? As if the picture is multiplying inside the screen. Im not seeing anything but seems this would be lying around.
