Hi Oliver,
I've tested the color match feature with the cheapest color card. I asked Alexis Van Hurkman which of the three might be better and he felt that the cheapest would work as well as the most expensive. It works really well and you can color correct for any editing platform before using the clips by importing the clips into resolve, dropping them into a sequence, applying the color match to each clip and exporting them as individual clips to a folder of your choice.
Compared to other editing programs, the resolve editor seemed very basic.
