Well after installing all the ama plugins compatible with Ver. 7 I now see the normal ama folder showing the plug ins like I would expect. It was almost like the finder took extra time to update. Even trying to sort by modification date yielded inconsistent results. Very odd behavior, if I didn't know better it was like the finder didn't quite get the memo that new plug ins had been installed into the ama folder until Avid was started and quit. Is something like that even possible? Could the ama plugin installers be marginally coded in a manner that would somehow make the new plugins invisible at the finder level until Avid accessed them? Very strange and I was around during the time of the Alien Autopsy and all the big foot sightings.
