MacMall.com has refurb 500gig G-drive minis for $50 and slims for $40. We use these a lot for 'data shuttles' moving stuff around town, delivery, etc, and also keep a few on hand to resell to clients. The G-Drive Mini is good because it's both USB3 and Firewire 800 for us Mac Pro die-hards.
They also have some LaCie stuff, but I ignored that...
