I use Flashgot as a Firefox add-on:

- It's a download manager that includes a button on the add-ons bar that lights up when a downloadable video is available on the page. (The video needs to have started playing before Flashgot will recognise it.) Press the button to download the current video, or right-click for options if there is more than one format/resolution available.
