I've been working on an indie feature doc at home up here in the Catskills. I have Symphony 6.0.4 (Mac) and my client in NYC (a former editor) rented MC 8.1.x two months ago. We trade bins with sequences) back and forth via Dropbox and email all the time and they open every time with no problem. The only incompatibilities are that she doesn't have Avid FX or PhraseFind.
