Sorry no hints Benjamin. It is one of those problems that when it occurs
you are faced with the choice, wrestle it to the ground (with an unknown
amount of time) or fix the bins you need and get back to editing. We got
as far as confirming the "number from the top" font concept which I got
from poking around on the web a bit but then moved on. (Sounds like we
made the right choice!) All for the feature request.
But while I have your attention Ben -
Here's the possible feature request that came up for me the other day
and I'm curious if I am just missing some trick.
Have you ever set up a complex trim with several tracks, only to have
the Avid beep at you because one of the tracks can't be trimmed that
direction (for example there is no more of the source?)
At that point, unless there is something I am missing, I have to go
through the tracks, one by one, trying to figure out which one is the
problem. Wouldn't it be better if along with beeping it added a
highlight to the problem trim?
