2009 Mac Pro 8x2.26, 24gb ram, ati 4870, OSX 10.9.4. MC v8.2.0
Like an idiot, I installed 8.2 while I am working on a project. I know, rookie mistake. I've just wasted a lot of time rendering, and the BG rendering was too strong a siren's call to ignore. (It IS pretty nice BTW...)
Well, I'm seeing an issue where after about an hour, my Mac HD's free space starts creeping downwards. Nothing shows up on finder as being huge, and it doesn't show in the Activity Monitor either.
I have traced it to the AVID Application Manager that installs in the menu bar. When I exit it, the space returns.
It's not a "fake" filling either, I let it fill once, and the system freaked, and crashed spectacularly. However, restart fixed all.
So, now I've quit the App Manager, and trying again while I see if anyone else is seeing this.
I'll probably just be downgrading shortly if leaving the App Man closed doesn't work, but any thoughts would be appreciated.
