Dongles and SW licensing will be covered. Lets say you have an MC 6.5 dongle base system and you upgraded to MC 7.x You would have received an activation ID that you would redeem for an updater.avd. Now with MC 8, you would buy the support/upgrade plan and get a redemption code. You redeem this code at My Account at account.avid.com and we deposit your upgrades there in your account through the plans year.
