This one mystifies me:
I always keep my top video layer for timing markers and notes markers (scenes, music changes, director's notes, etc). For scenes, I'll add an edit and place a marker there.
Today, I added the edit, and labeled the marker. With that track unselected (V5), I used the smart segment tool to move a clip from V2 to V1, and the marker, which happened to coincide with the head of the clip, just disappeared.
Why would a marker on a deselected track that I wasn't working on just disappear? This happens both with an "add edit" in V5 and without an "add edit" in V5.
Thoughts?
