Not likely. But another solution should be this. Do you know where the MXF is? Grab it out of the numbered folder it's in and place it in a new numbered folder. Let MC build a database for the one MXF file. Open a bin and drag the newly created MDB file into the bin. Now you have a master clip of the MXF, and you can give that the same tape name you gave for the other clip.

Let's say someone, definitely not me (ok, me) mislabeled a clip's tape name. Said clip actually has no tape association, and I don't have the source clip, just the .mxf file.
How can I remove the tape association from this clip so I can relink it back to the .mxf?
