That's all nice, but I would not expect more features per year. There's a limit to what they can do, of course. They may do a lot of smaller things more often, but it might also mean less bigger requests can be addressed.

We have seen 8.1 which had some long requested features like DPX support. I would imagine another release will be shown at IBC. I would expect that we will now see a new feature releases far more frequently than in the past.
