Not being a Flamer what is, "destructive raster paint is only available in flame currently"? That probably didn't come out right but I hope you got what I meant. It sounds like a fabulous feature!!!

Flame 2015 has gone dual screen (gasp) Nuke studio has an editorial timeline and amazing job management features for artist collaboration, resolve is great at what it does but it will take serious features being added to compete in finishing.Since Avid refuses to support the finishing market it appears Blackmagic is going to take it.
Outside the flame ecosystem no one is really attempting one stop finishing, destructive raster paint is only available in flame currently and that a bedrock of TVC finishing. BMD know whats needed but its a massive commitment on their behalf and if they do it half as well as they have improved davinci they will be the one to watch but its by no means a one horse race and Avid itself is showing signs of waking up.
Ive been at this 30 years now and the one thing I love is that we always live in interesting times. I love this business!
If Grant and Pete and the guys take on comping and effects with the same zeal they took on grading we will some serious motivation everywhere, fear is the engine of progress and innovation.
