I need to bring my Symphony HP z820 into a facility and link it up to their Unity system. But I need to get a fibre channel Adapter to do this. The in house machines have ATTO Celerity FC-41ES Fibre Channel Adapters. Do I need to get one of these (look pretty expensive) or will any FC adapter do. For instance the HP StorageWorks FC2142 4Gb Fiber Channel Adapter which I can get for about $30.
The Unity version is 5.1.2 - is there anything else I need to know. Presumably I can just load the Connection Manager software from the facility? Or am I being naive!
