You have to uninstall and reinstall the Black Magic Desktop software. Avid needs to be installed first. In my experience it's important to uninstall the BMD before reinstalling. I assume it's a compatible piece of hardware but I haven 't checked the specs. I would assume if it does work that it's like all the other BM hardware with Avid and it will insert a black frame on digital cuts and the timeline will be a frame out of sync. This has been mentioned in various threads.
