The ACA is the Avid Customer Association. Ironically, it's not really for customers so much as for people who want to PAY to claim to be customers. It's not based on Avid ownership but an additional fee to label you as more important than other customers, which probably makes it even more galling when they ignore you the same as everyone else.
That said, the more we complain about this, the harder it probably is for Avid to negotiate with Nexidia. Every angry email adds weight to Nexidia's bargaining position.
