I think finding replacement pads to fit that specific model might be tricky. I could be wrong, though. Replacement pads for Sony 7506 headphones are easy to come by…Sony sells them, I think some Audio-Technica pads will fit, and B&H even sells generic knockoffs. Beyer, Sennheiser, and Shure also sells replacement pads for a bunch of their bigger headphones…maybe something will fit.
If you're OK with the aesthetics, you might like Garfield Headphone Softies. A fuzzy Rayon fabric with an elastic that holds it in place on top of your existing (or new) cushions. Comfy and warm in winter, cool in summer; no more sweaty ears and cans. Acoustically transparent (for all intents and purposes). I use these even on headphones that don't have decaying pads. Available in several colors. Under $20.

If you want to try some new headphones, check out the mainstream production choices from Sony, Sennheiser, and Ultrasone. Here's a decent list of the usual suspects:

For location mixing I almost always use Sony MDR-7506, but check out the Ultrasones. They're rather flat (in a good way). They make consumer/audiophile models…I've only tried their professional models:

I know a couple post people who say good things about Grado headphones for work (as opposed to pleasure) listening. Huh.

In your neighborhood, you can find most of this stuff (except for Grado, most likely), as well as good advice and service recommendations (I'd think) at Trew Audio or Location Sound.

I've gotta say, I know they're almost 20 years old, but I've listened to all different kinds of headphones, and nothing has come close to these in fidelity (IMHO). I'd even consider finding a new pair if I could if I can't find parts.

Not quite Hollywood but if you squint you can pretend. In the past I've found foam replacements for my sony headphones that are smaller non muff design. It might have been at Fry's or maybe Radio Shack I stumbled on them.
