I don't think Resolve installs a specific Nvidia display driver on a Mac, nor does it require you to have anything but whats normally included in the Mac OS. Resolve does require a specific CUDA version, but Avid makes no use of CUDA whatsoever…so I doubt that it could wreak any havoc with MC.
Try removing all your third party AVX plugins, and your third party AMA plugins and systematically re-install them.
