So, I have Media Composer 6.5.4 installed on my Mac that is currently running 10.9.4.
It's incredibly wonky with very basic functionality not working with a full 8 gigs of RAM on my i7 Processors.
When I go to the Matrix - It only lists MC 8.0 & 8.1
When I go to the Legacy Matrix it does not list Mac operating systems. But lists a link for Mac systems on it, which is now defunct.
The only thing that I can find that represents any info that seems to apply is the Avid Knowledge Base of July 25th which indicates:
"Media Composer 7.0.3 and 6.5.4.1 and later support Mac OS X 10.9.x"
I saw something about a patch on a Creative Cow forum. But I don't know if this applies to me or not considering this version was installed just two weeks ago.
Are there any plans to make MC 6.5.4 compatible with the latest SECURE OS or am I simply out of luck and now forced to migrate to a monthly subscription if I want to learn Avid.
Would love some considerate help. . .
