I need to synchronize MC versions on four systems: I'm trying to decide between taking all systems to 8.1, or syncing on 7.0.4. If version 8 were truly an "upgrade" I'd stick with v7, but v8 was really a point "update" rather than an upgrade. As such, it seems silly not to go to the latest "update."
We are using AMA almost exclusively, so AMA improvements are important. The reverse is also true. Some of the AMA plug-ins are not yet updated for v8. My personal experience is that the one system running v8 is as stable as the one v7 system. Avid Pan & Zoom is also critical.
