Subject: [FCP-L] Re: xdcam50 export question

So the Sony content browser along with the exporter add-on can export an xdcam50 sequence to an MXF in FCPX. As mentioned here before, it only works if you export 8 mono stem 24-bit channels when using the xdcam 50 codec. But it works and is Avid-ready. The other choices, like XDCAM HD or EX will let you do dual-mono.

New issue- Out of curiosity I exported the sequence as Stereo/Pro Res and opened the QT in FCP7. I tried exporting as XDCAM but for some reason it would only export :30 seconds. This seems like some sort of trial limitation but I am not sure where to look for the offending file/setting. Someone on Ken Stone mentioned Calibrated Software but I don't see any Calibrated files, unless they are named something weird. I tried reinstalling the xdcam software and drivers but didn't have an effect.
