RE: [Avid-L2] Deleting Attic

Hi there,

That's were there attic is but the Avid seems to know it used to have an attic file and I can't work out how it knows this.

On ISIS. 'Unity Attic' at top level of each workspace. On a Mac with local drives, Users>Shared>AvidMediaComposer>Avid Attic. On Windows, probably in Public folder (I'm behind the times on Windows).

We can't work  where the avid stores the info that says there should be an attic folder for a bin. None of the usual suspects.. Site settings/project settings etc etc

Hi there

We used to routinely delete the attic on Unity once in a while when it got large and what used to happen is a new one got created and every bin that got opening just started building new attic folders.

We are running a mix of 6.5.4 and 7.04 and we find bins that used to have attic files don't build a new attic. If we make a new bin then an attic folder is created. The error suggests the MC is looking for the last good attic file and because it can't find it doesn't make a new one.

Any way around this?

Thanks
