That sounds like a sequence that Avid converted to 23.98 from 24. Normally it would flag you about that and create a new sequence. So it must be something that happens on the AAF import. It would be interesting to see if you could text edit the AAF and change it to 23.98. I've never opened an AAF in a text editor so I don't know if this is even possible.
