I have recently upgraded to MC 8.0, and have discovered that Avid Pan & Zoom no longer works reliably as it did in MC 6.5. I have seen some posts about it here and elsewhere, and the point seems to be that some stills import just fine, while others just show up as black. As a documentary-maker, I use this tool quite frequently, even if it is somewhat rudimentary. Apparently the issue is where the file of the still is located, and what the file structure is. Does anyone have any more information about this? Quite confounding to find this basic tool of editing so buggy!
