Not having Phrase Find along with watering down the software "bonus" pack of Boris and etc is the fantastic result of years of Avid's "not invented here" philosophy. Some of these were sold as major features or ways to get around Media Composer's poor or lacking ability to create effects or do other nice things. Although Phrase Find has always been a user purchased option many of these other "helpers" were included with purchase not long ago.
Not much they can do about it now. They continue to step on their own feet in many efforts. Wish a company that actually can develop software buys them. A real bonus if the take over firm isn't in the habit of continually misleading customers from the executive level.
Maybe AJA could use an editing product since it appears that is where Black Magic is going as DaVinci grows up.
