Re: [Avid-L2] ProRes on Win

 

You might be running into what I run into when I get ProRes files made from FCP7. They AMA link, but when Consolidate is attempted, I get "Could not consolidate due to foreign compression type". Always have to transcode those. Who knows why. I've stopped caring…

Are they ProRes 4444?

I have not been able to consolidate the 4444 codec in a YUV color space project.

After the fact, when the media in question was long gone, I saw something somewhere about needing to be in a RGB project for ProRes 4444 to be a native resolution.
