DownThemAll can be used for exactly that kind of purpose, where it would be tiresome to right-click/Save As for every link on a page. You can set a filter (say WAV) and it will automatically download all of the WAV links on a page that it can find.
It also has extensive settings for concurrent downloads per server (up to 10) and concurrent downloads overall (up to 20).On Fri, Jun 13, 2014 at 3:54 AM, bigfish@pacbell.net [Avid-L2] <Avid-L2@yahoogroups.com> wrote:
Thanks for the clarification. This explains what I've been experiencing. Would Download Them All be useful if I was on a page that had several links to download sound effects? It sounds like I could select just the sound effect links and down load them.
A while back I had posted a Firefox setting that would increase the number of simultaneous downloads from the default 6 to a higher number of your choosing. Do you know if Download Them All bypasses that restriction that Firefox imposes?
