Re: [Avid-L2] OTish: DownLoad Them all Vs. Download Helper in Firefox?

DownThemAll can be used for exactly that kind of purpose, where it would be tiresome to right-click/Save As for every link on a page. You can set a filter (say WAV) and it will automatically download all of the WAV links on a page that it can find.

It also has extensive settings for concurrent downloads per server (up to 10) and concurrent downloads overall (up to 20).

Thanks for the clarification.  This explains what I've been experiencing.  Would Download Them All be useful if I was on a page that had several links to download sound effects?  It sounds like I could select just the sound effect links and down load them.

A while back I had posted a Firefox setting that would increase the number of simultaneous downloads from the default 6 to a higher number of your choosing.  Do you know if Download Them All bypasses that restriction that Firefox imposes?
