I'd bet that product management at the development level logs this list and the community forums and enters issues into a bug tracker for the testers.
Truthfully, I would not expect Marianna or David to respond to this as they are not at the coding and testing level and it's kind-of unfair to ask them to respond to assertion failed messages.
Stating that, it would be nice to have a representative in product who would have direct contact with engineering to answer these queries.
