Re: [Avid-L2] Location of AMA Plug-Ins folder?

Thanks Mark,
Your embedding info verifies my hunch -- thanks.
I'll try the database trashing, with fingers crossed . . . thanks!

The QT AMA plugin is embedded in the software, so you wouldn't see it there.

If you can't link to QT, try tossing the AMA Management folder (/Users/Shared/AvidMediaComposer/AMA Management)

Thanks Stu -- much appreciated -- (no snark)
Anyone know why I would not be seeing the QT Plug-in(s) inside that folder along with the other AMA plugs (e.g. MSP_AS11)…
and I *am* able to AMA link to QT files?
Color me confused!

Basically, we're trying to figure out why One Mac OS logged-in User can AMA link to QT files, while another one can not.

I figure it's access/permissions of some sort . . . ??

Hey all,

I'm on site, and troubleshooting.
Anyone definitively know the location of
the AMA Plug-Ins folder on a Mac?

Thanks for any speedy help . . .

Cheers!

B
