I don't think David is talking about the format of ALE, I think he is speakingabout the Application for converting .flex .keyscope etc to ALE
Right David? MC will still certainly let you import/export ALE files, it's so a integral part of the I/O of logs
You can still keep the ALE program external and run it on any modern OS.
