This happened rarely with tape footage from a remote truck, as a timecode or control track break would stop capture into Avid. With a KiPro, it happily keeps recording, and any video anomaly is baked into the file, basically becoming a land mine, destined to go off at the most inopprtune moment in an edit.
Make sure you check all the angles. The problem may be in the group clip on an angle currently not visible. You may literally be looking for one frame. Might be helpful to check each ISO separately in the source monitor.... Find the problem, then find it in the sequence.
Hopefully it's something else and I am totally wrong. This can be a real PIA to find. I've been there.

Good info - definitely KiPro footage. I'll see what I can find. It only happens about once an hour now, so it's going to be tough to track down.
Thanks!

There's a second track at a different frame rate, a non-grouped pickup camera, but nothing odd beyond that. When I first started on the project, it wouldn't save new bins once I put the sequence into those bins. During auto-save, the application just locked up, So, I made a new project and have been able to edit for a few hours with auto-saves, but now the same thing has happened: during auto-save, media composer has stalled.
