Re: [Avid-L2] Autosave problem

Maybe the drive with the project is going to sleep? Maybe the auto-save isn't enough to trigger the drive to wake up?

I have a long sequence that's multi-cam, but nothing too complex - I'm just doing a simple cut-down, chopping out chunks of a line cut and covering with ISO cam. There's a second track at a different frame rate, a non-grouped pickup camera, but nothing odd beyond that. When I first started on the project, it wouldn't save new bins once I put the sequence into those bins. During auto-save, the application just locked up, So, I made a new project and have been able to edit for a few hours with auto-saves, but now the same thing has happened: during auto-save, media composer has stalled.

Any idea what might be happening? It feels familiar but I can't put my finger on the problem. Plenty of room on the project drive.

I'm going go cut in another room and see if the same thing happens; any suggestions or 'memory jolts' will be appreciated.
