[Avid-L2] OTish: DownLoad Them all Vs. Download Helper in Firefox?

Others on the L2 have been happy with Download Them All the extension for Firefox to download videos off web sites.  I have always had better success with Download Helper for Firefox.  Today I needed to download a friends demo reel from YouTube.  I downloaded both Download Them All (DTA) and Download Helper (DH).  When I go to the you tube page and open DTA I get a list of elements from the page but nothing is obvious as to the demo video.  When I click the DH pulldown menu I see a list of the demo reel title in .mp4, .flv, and .3gp.  Clicking on the .mp4 downloaded a QT compatible file that worked just fine.  What am I missing in DTA as I see no files or descriptions that list the name of the demo reel that DH shows in the pull down menu?  I even tried to filter using .mp4 in DTA but nothing ended up selected.  I'm really beginning to think all the internet hype is grossly overrated.
