I've searched through Avid Help with little luck, and
Site: http://ContactBen.com
I'm hoping someone can clear-up some questions
I have about Source Settings with AMA'd RED footage.
See the linked image:
Letter "A":
Am I correct that this is the color space that the raw R3D file is being "filtered" or "viewed" through?
As in: "Hey Avid, make this image display within the Rec 709 color space"?
Letter "B":
What is the explanation of the setting called "Memory 1"?
Where is this set (in the camera?)? And how does it differ from "Camera Metadata Settings"?
Could there ever be a "Memory 2" . . . or "3"? It seems plausible.
Am I correct that "Camera Metadata Settings" are those set at the camera by the D.P.?
Am I correct that "Default Settings" are those that are pre-set in either the R3D-AMA plug-in or in the accompanying RMD file?
These, and any other, details you have the time and/or patience to share are greatly appreciated!
Cheers gang!
B
