Adobe's AvidDNXHD MXF is Op1a, not OPAtom. The audio is embedded. You still need to AMA/Consolidate to get it into Avid. You can't just drop it into Avid MediaFiles.

I cannot say that I have used it on a real job yet, as my clients have remained on CS 6 or CS 5.5.
