No luck Dom. Both Avid and HP have confirmed that only the Gen 2 slot works for their Thunderbolt and Nitris DX. Just plain bizarre that P would design a newer card for an older format.
At any rate, I have two brand new Thunderbolt cards for sale. They are not usable with Nitris DX systems though. :-(
