Funny you should mention that Roger. I'm in the process of reading Fixed in MC 7.0.4 and right before seeing your comment I came across:
Bug Number: UDevC00183238. (Mac) When opening a project, you might have received a"serious error has occurred" message if the display was being mirrored to a secondary display.
I haven't experienced that problem myself.
