Re: [Avid-L2] Single Composer Window in MC 7.0.3

Alt Click on FX mode under windows, I guess it's command click on a Mac (sorry not on a MAC but someone will chime in)

I'm trying to build my settings anew for MC 7.0.3. Typically, when in Effects Mode, I like to resize the Composer window so it is as large as possible and only shows the 'Record' side (has that term ever changed? is that still what we call the right half of the Composer window?). This makes it easier to see what I'm doing.

I don't seem to be able to do this any more. If I move my cursor to the lower right hand corner of the Composer window I get, as desired, a diagonally-pointing/both-end-pointing arrow for resizing. But no matter how I fool with it, MC insists on giving me both the Play and Record windows.

Before starting on this full setting rebuild, I brought my 6.5.3 settings into 7.0.3 (I know, I know, but I had just installed 7 and I got a last minute gig). With that version, I could drag out the window to just show the Record side, but it wouldn't save in my workspace. Stepping out of then returning to Edit mode would always give me the two-window arrangement.

I am working from brand new settings created today. Does anyone else configure this way and do you know the solution to this? Or has this ability gone away in this version?
