Shirley is right. The rest of the ergonomics is vital especially for long days.
Conventional wisdom of the L was to pick up an Aeron from an office going out of business. I have not had any luck here in the frozen North but you might.
As for the thin butt cheeks I would suggest two possibilities. One I like and use occasionally is about an inch of high density foam at the front of the chair. This was something... well, I went to a bar. The only table left was along the wall. I viewed the seating with great suspicion. A 2x6 along the wall for back support. A 2x12 bench screwed to the wall and along the front another 2x6 on top. I thought I would be rushing to get out of there. A couple of beer and a full meal later I was surprised to find I was in no rush to leave and was still quite comfortable. As far as I can figure something about the extra support under the lower thighs and maybe a shift of weight?
The other thing you could try is a nice memory foam cushion (or pillow if you can not find one) to give you a bit more support around the edges much like a bucket seat. I used to be able to drive for 12 hours except for the needed breaks in my 78 Civic, that was a great seat. The Caddy was great to0. Drop the seat back and it was like being home in bed. A nice 3 or 4 hour nap and carry on.
