RE: [Avid-L2] Export IMX30 from MC

Thanks Dom,

So if I select the XDCAM MXF OP1a option - how do I ensure that it's 30Mbps etc?  There don't appear to be any options.

XDCAM MXF OP1a should qualify for your needs.

XDCAM format supports IMX 30 media stream.

OP1a is a specific MXF structure, which is probably the most commonly used in production and post-prod.

Hi guys,

I'm sure this'll be a noob question, but here goes anyway.

I have a sequence in MC that I need to export as SD IMX30 (MPEG-2, MXF, 720x576, 16:9 FHA 25i TFF, 30Mbps, CBR, PCM 8ch/16but/48kHz).

I have transcoded the sequence to MPEG 30 MXF, which I am assuming is the same thing?  Maybe I didn't need to, but I did, so I now have both sequences available (uncompressed and transcoded).

How do I now get an mxf file (not a Quicktime) out of MC that meets the above IMX30 spec?  The only MXF output option I see is XDCAM MXF OP1a which isn't the same thing, is it?

Thanks,

Tony
